Founder & President
Having worked in the construction industry for over 40 years, my experience extends from having performed as a craftsman (carpenter, painter) to serving as Job Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager. In my role as the company Estimator, I have prepared job cost estimates for over $500,000,000 in construction bids and have successfully obtained over $100,000,000 in civil and commercial contracts. In my role as Senior Project Manager I have overseen the successful completion of all contracts, all of which have been finished on schedule.

In 1972, I started Carson & Associates, Inc. in Real Estate Development and Property Management. In 1978, I moved the company’s entire focus into Commercial Construction. Over the past 40 years, we have completed several educational facilities (new and renovated) for public and private school systems within the Pulaski County area.

I also attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and also the Broadway School of Real Estate, acquiring my license in 1971.

On a more personal note, I have been married to my wife, Janet, since 1970. We have four children of which three are employed in our rental property business, JCH Properties. Janet is the Vice-President and Financial Officer for Carson & Associates and has been since its inception.
