VP & OFFICE MANAGER... I am the Vice President/Office Manager for Carson & Associates, Inc. I have worked alongside my husband, Carson Harris, since we formed Carson & Associates, Inc. in 1972. My direct responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining all administrative matters, banking, invoice approval and payment, and dealing with personnel matters.
PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT... I have overseen the construction of over 20 major projects, both private industry and federal government. The major items of work included site work, roadways, underground utilities, overhead transmission and distribution lines, electrical poles/wiring relocation, substation (sewer, electrical, water), concrete, structural steel, steam and compressor air systems, masonry, metal studs, drywall, dryvit, asbestos abatement, standing seam roofs.
PRESIDENT & SR PROJECT MANAGER... I am the President/Senior Project Manager for Carson & Associates, Inc. Carson & Associates, Inc. was incorporated in June of 1972 as a General Construction and Real Estate Development company. The company is licensed under the State of Arkansas to perform Heavy, Highway, Municipal, Utility and Building (Commercial and Residential) construction. The company has performed all of the above mentioned types of construction work.
PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT... During my employment with Carson & Associates, Inc I have been involved with the construction of over 30 projects. My role in those project ranged from estimating/bidding to serving as Project Manager, Superintendent and Job Safety Officer.
As the PROJECT ESTIMATOR & CONTROLLER for Carson & Associates, Inc., I have been in this position for 34 years. Duties as project estimator include reviewing the job site, plans, specifications, performing quantity take-offs and developing job cost estimates. As Controller, I review supplier and subcontractor invoices, recommend adjustments, or payments and perform job cost analysis. Also prepare interim financial statements, subcontractor’s contracts.
PROJECT MANAGER... I assist Carson Harris, Senior Project Manager, with coordination, management, and administrative functions from project development throughout project completion. I have approximately $50M of satisfactory experience with including Corps of Engineers and State agencies at public and Government installations as a Quality Control Manager and Project Manager.
PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT... I've served as Job Superintendent for Carson & Associates, Inc., for the past 25 years. I started as a Carpenter/Millwright worker and through hard work, loyalty and proven leadership ability was promoted to Job Superintendent in 1988. Duties as Job Superintendent requires coordination of all onsite construction matters between the Owner’s Representative, Architect/Engineer, subcontractors and company craftsmen.
